That is by far the coolest news I have heard in a long time. I mean we get to see some Van Damage on the big screen again!!
Now I can't wait for this movie!! Its funny, last year a friend and I were watching Replicant and were discussing how Van Damme's straight to DVD movies are way better than the stuff that made it to the theater. We figured the only way he could get back into the big screen without scaring off movie fans was to have him take a sidekick role with Jackie Chan, Jet Li, or any other current action star. Or at the least a role in one of there movies. However we figured he might be too proud to take a smaller role.
Now I hear this! Its awsome. Its brought back the kid who loved seeing Van Damme movies. Yeah the choreography sucked back then but I know Van Damme can do better now. Just watch some of his newer stuff. Makes you want to forget Double Team or Knock Off lol.
