June 23, 2003 — The Calgary Sun spoke to Luke Wilson about how he was signed onto Around the World in 80 Days to play one of the Wright brothers with his brother Owen Wilson, and didn't even know it:
In the Jackie Chan comedy Around the World in 80 Days, Luke and his brother Owen Wilson will play the Wright brothers.
"I read we were playing the Wrights in some gossip column, so I called up Owen. I said: 'Did you hear that some idiot thinks we're going to play the Wright brothers?'
"Owen said: 'Luke, we are playing them. I signed us up. I just forgot to send you the memo.' "
