Steve Coogan has become the first person to be filmed walking the Great Wall of China for a movie. China granted permission for Coogan to be filmed on the wall for a sequence in Around the World in 80 Days. Coogan, who plays explorer Phileas Fogg, says the event marked an astonishing moment in his career. "I'm the first person ever to be filmed walking along the Great Wall of China. The Chinese government refused permission in the past because so many nomadic people live round the wall. They were all cleared out of the way, it was like a military operation, but in the end it was just me and the crew, no one else for miles around. Who would have thought it, eh? Alan Partridge, first film star to conquer China."

Pretty neat! I've been seeing coming attractions and features on the Disney Channel (a benefit of having small children!) Looks like this film will be a LOT of fun

Definitely seems like this summer's most fun action movie. Jackie in a funny story, filled with cameos. What's not to like

"Why are people looking for escape in movies?....Because it's....a form of recapturing not a'childish' impulse, but a way of looking at the world as if it were fresh and interesting." - Tim Burton

"An actor should never be larger than the film he's in." - Christian Bale
