The Hollywood Reporter reports the following bit of news:

Nicole Kidman and Brad Pitt are in negotiations to star in Regency Enterprises' action-adventure feature Mr. and Mrs. Smith for director Doug Liman, reports The Hollywood Reporter. There is no start date yet for the project written by Simon Kinberg. The film is described as The War of the Roses meets True Lies. It is about a bored married couple who discover they are enemy assassins hired to kill each other.
