The 3 men darted off down one of the complexes many dark corridors
Whilst there were no N.A.V or controlled zombies around,the group paused.
"Lets take a look at that leg Hicks"ordered Purdy
"By Christ it hurts like a S.O.B " uttered Hicks through clenched teeth,
BMW ,quickly thinking, disinfected the wound and bandaged it with his Pantera bandana...
"Cheers Bm ,... I needed that"
"Freeze!Act like stiffs !"whispered Purdy loudly..
Aa patrol of 4 NAV men marched past.
"Paid us no heed,...Must reckon we,ve been assigned here"whispered BM back
"O.K ...This way!!"
The 3 men headed North,clutching the metal box..What was in it?
"Wait... whispered Hicks "Plant these as we go along..." Hicks produced 20 or so small rectangular pieces of blue oblong play- doh like material.
"This is C-4(16) Even more powerful than C-4"Plant it wherever you can on the way out!"
The 2 men carrying the hobbling Hicks shuffled out of the East entrance to the N.A. V camp,dispersing the Plastic H.E at strategic points on the way out.
English D on the far hillside spotted them in his binocs.
"There they are!"roared the Englishman,just as the multi -tented base erupted in a series of explosions....

"CONTENTS OF THE BOX REVEALED"
As the tented complex erupted in explosions and flames behind them,the 3 figures of ZKSB,Cpl Hicks and Bm could be seen darting up the hill
"By Jovis they've made it !"roared the Englishman slapping Skelly andWesWes on the back
"Quickly come on,lets get this box open!" bellowed SkaBoy"Any one gotta crowbar?"
The men fumbled about embarressedly
"You had one didn't youSkelly?"gestured WesWes to the man from NJ
"Oh Sh*t...left it in the damn chopper!"
"Lets get it up to the top of this hillside then smash the bugger open "said E.D
The group of 15 or so men dragged the metal casket up the hillside ,which opened up on a plateau overlooking the now destroyed N.A.V camp and the Village of Hobbs End.
"O.k "bellowed Hicks ",get your knives and bayonets out,coax off the lid"..
As the Punchers battlegroup wrestled with the box ,a familiar sounding sinister voice grated
"STOP RIGHT THERE....!!!"
SkaBoys men started at the voice,there about 150metres ahead was the arch fiend General Kozlowski,atop his armoured Hummer surrounded by 10 of his elite special forces commandos
"11 men!Hah thats all hes got left !"laughed Hicks.The laugh was soon wiped off his face
Out of nowhere 200 men appeared to Kozlowskis right ,bristling with small arms and light anti- tank weapons....then to Kozlowskis left,a further 100 or so men appeared riding on a couple of old Soviet BMP afvs and a couple of old U.S M116 Halftracks,these"armoured Infantry "poured off their vehicles and assumed firing posistions.
Finally,an old Sherman tank trundled dead centre accomanied by two aging Hueys out of which abseiled 20 black clad stormtroopers.
Out of the Sherman Tank turrett appeared..."Almost Human"..The renegade from the 6th Pennysylvania Irregulars.
"You were saying Hicks?....Said Kozlowski sarcastically.The evil Nazi started to laugh but then his face froze....
Out of the blue,2 Puma Helicopters hovered over the punchers and a mixed force of 30 or so Paratroopers and Royal Marine Commandos abseiled down,before the Pumas flew off,
"Where the hell did you guys come from!?"roered E.D
"Herad you were having some greif so thoght we'd pop over and help you chaps out"muttered the moustachioed R.S.M
Next ,3 massive Fire Ladders screeched to a halt by the Ppunchers battlegroup and out leapt 25 New Jersey and F.D.N.Y Firefighters brandishing Axes and other FireFighting tools
"Whers Cheif Purdy?"said one old Smoke eater"we heard he could use some help"
...
"Over here Captain Murphy!I ..I thought you were dead!"stammered Ska Boy
Finally...music to Cpl Hicks ears...It was the remaining dropship from the "Anderson".Fisher ,that damned old reliable Synthetic,must have made contact!The UD 4DL Ccheyenne dropsip hovered over the plateau and disperesed 15 highly armoured and wellarmed space marines,before jetting off back to the stratosphere.to the Anderson
"O.k Hicks"snapped the nearest Grunt,PFC Williams,"Wheres the trouble?"...
Hicks nodded towards the N.A.V horde
About 500 of them against ,the Punchers battlegroup,the British reinforcements,Purdys firefighters,Bmws men from Missouri and the Colonial Marine detachment from Hicks command ship...84 men and women all told...
"Hey what about the box?"someone asked.....Hmmmm slightly more pressing things to worry about at the moment!

Oh come now fellas we can keep it going, I'm only a day late this time!
"BATTLE FOR THE BOX AT HOBBS END PLATEAU"
There was a breif eiry silence. Both sides stood their ground and eyed each other, waiting for the first move. It came from Purdy.
He raised his pistol and fired, taking the closest N.A.V. trooper square in the chest. Soon after Rifles and Machineguns erupted in a fury of bullets. Purdy's punchers and their allies scattered for cover while giving the N.A.V. something to worry about in return.
Kozlowski's personal gaurd took several casualties, but did not shy away from dealing them out. One of Hicks' Troopers, Lance Corporal Stevens, was shot through the brain.
BMW fell back with the Firemen.
"Stay low, their coming this way!" He whispered harshly. The N.A.V. was advancing on the punchers flank with the old sherman tank and about fourty troopers. the Firefighters kept low and stayed hidden till the last second. BMW led the charge. the men of New Jersey and New York sprung upon the Nazi's viciously. Blood splattered through the air as the firemen hacked and ripped their way through the suprised NAV men. The Firefighters paid dearly too, losing seven men in the close quarters fighting. on the other flank, ED and his british marines and paras fired viciously into the NAV. A heavy machine gun was decimating the nazi's for several minutes, literaly tearing them to peices. But several RPG rounds quickly ended the brits automatic fire leaving a busted machinegun and a few peices of the gunners. In the Center Hicks and his Colonial Marines and the rest of the crew were also hardpressed. the N.A.V. was sending their heavy troops forward here, Kozlowski's personal gaurd included. Hicks' good freind Sgt. Young was shot thru the neck and he lay in the open bleeding to death. A Marine tried to retreive him but was cut down by the heavy enemy fire. Hicks had no choice, Young would have done it for him, he took aim and fired two rounds instantly killing his good freind.
Back on the left flank, BMW and the firefighters routed the remaining NAV hacking and shooting (with captured weapons) as they fell back tattered and bloody. Purdy followed in the pursuit only to find a wounded Captain Murphy.
"Murphy!" he yelled "you allright?"
"took one to the shoulder, but i'll live" was the captains response. On the right flank the NAV was falling back also. The brits finaly breaking the NAV's will and slaughtering them as they ran. In the center however, the NAV was pushing in....right into an unplaned trap. the Firefighters and the brits suddenly saw the NAV stuck in the middle with little cover. bullets began to reign amongst the nazis and their dead began to pile. Suddenly nearly five yards from ED an explosion from a frag grenade erupted. the nearest Paras were killed but ED was unscathed. Almost Human walked from the smoke, machete in hand.
"Let's dance, danny boy!" he shouted with a snear.

"Two men in one man out"
Almost_Human and E.d squared up to each other.The Pennysylvanian with his machete,the Englishman with his bare hands.Almost feignted with his blade,the Englishman caught his wrist and Judo slammed him over his head and int o a gnarled old treestump.CRAEASSSHH !!
almosts body slumped to the ground,his neck broken.Two men had entered the arena and one had left,and luckily ,it was one of the good guys
"Hicks ,5 rounds rapid that man there!!"
roared the Englishman to the tough Space Marine,gesturing to an N.A.V man dragging the all important steel box back down towards Hobbs End.
"Dammit...missed!" bellowed the Marine
"We've gotta get that box back" roared Purdy
"I,m on it Chief" yelled Bmw amongst the din of Mortar shells and richochetting bulletts
"GO MAN ,GO!!!"roared Hicks sticking his boot up BMWs ass......BMW tore after the man,bayonet in hand....
