Was thinking about this today after reading all you posts about if this really happened. And something dawned on me.

Now when this movie came out me and my wife went to see it the first weekend. After we had alot of questions like what you all have said many times. I had high hopes that when it came out on DVD they would answer them. Well they kinda did and kinda didn't.

First off I really wanted to know why they didn't attack the dog. Was it just dogs, or animals under a bar of intelligence. Would an ape get attacked or did they just want people? Then I watch the DVD and find out that they wanted to go the kill everything way but, boiled down it was just to expensive and would take to long to make CG zombie dogs with there budget and deadline.

OK, but with that it leaves a bad flaw. If all animals in the world, domesticated or not were don't harmed. Then that is ALOT of starving dogs and wild animals out there with a BIG smell of rotting meat just walking around.

I could only think how far a zombie would get in Africa befor a lion or hiena jumped them. Tearing them to the point that they could not move any more.

Not only that but wouldn't buzzards start swarming with the smell of rotting meat. Even them big black crows and brown birds you see eveywhere whould be peaking at them.

Now I don't mean they would kill them like parana or something, but just that there would be something out there that the zombies had no intrest in taking bites out of them from time to time. But if any would to get in the Ocean there is no way one would get very far before getting bit by a shark or some kind of fish. A big rotting peace of meat in the water is just ringing the dinner bell.

And the last thing, and the thing that would end the zombies faster then we think, would be the flys. Name anything dead that wasn't eaten to bone in no time by maggets and other insects. I know there where millions of zombies, but there are millions of flys and with food in such large amounts they would multiply very fast. As soon as the maggets reached the brain, bang dead zombie.

Not that this would happen within days, but the time line from just Andy's tape was almost 2 months. Just by this it would seem to START thining out the large mass. So staying in that mall you could wait it out.
