| How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... |

| from what i saw from order of the phoenix. i'm quite scared for the next harry potter installment. harry potter nad the half-blood prince. david yates had the emotional tone of the film. but no detail to the depth of the story line. the main plot of OOTP is the prophecy and i feel yates didn't explain it to it's full extent. kreacher should of had more air time instead of 4 lousy lines. because theres a huge diffrence between a harry potter fan who reads the books and sees the movies, and a harry potter fan who only sees the movies. and so i feel that if one read the book and saw kreacher protrayed on film, it was pretty darn lousy, i didn't feel that hateful emotion you felt toward him as you did in the books, Imelda Staunton (Dolores Umbridge) was made to play this role, but she had way to much air time, and very little for our friend Ron Weasley, OOTP was a high 8 if one only saw the movie, but if one read the book aswell, it was mere 4, i feel after the chamber of secrets came out the films started to go in there own direction. now from what i hear as Half blood prince is now filming, the gaunts will not appear in this film. and if one puts two and two together this means yates is not involving all of the pensive memories as where in the book. and i'm really hoping they make a certain somones death more emotionial. then siriu's back in OOTP, i am very disapoited to see that Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley) will not return as well as Climence Poisy (Fleur Delacour)as her role is so importent come Deathly Hallows. also dissapoited we have a new Tom Riddle. yates stated "Christian Coulson is to old to be playing the role already nearing 30", i would just like the films to maintain Continuity. just keeping my fingers crossed this film won't be ruined completely. |
