JKR says she will work on HP encyclopedia highlights from the story: In her first tell-all interview since the release of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," J.K. Rowling told TODAY's Meredith Vieira she "probably will" publish a Potter encyclopedia, promising many more details about her beloved characters and the fate of the wizarding world beyond the few clues provided in the seventh book's epilogue. (let's hope probably means YES YES YES) The encyclopedia would include back stories of characters she has already written but had to cut for the sake of narrative arc ("I've said before that Dean Thomas had a much more interesting history than ever appeared in the books"), as well as details about the characters who survive "Deathly Hallows," characters who continue to live on in Rowling's mind in a clearly defined magical world. and the article tells of the character that was going to die in the series, but managed to live until the end. as a huge fan of that character, THANKS! watch the today show THURSDAY and FRIDAY to see JKR interviewed by the today show. SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ BOOK 7!!!!! some highlights: - she's probably done writing wizarding stories, but she will write more books. - mr weasley was given a reprieve, as he was supposed to snuff it in book 5. (thank you.) - the last third of the book has been pretty much decided since the beginning, and followed her original plan. - the epilogue was longer but was shortnened. - chapter 34 was really hard for her to write. - she said that ron and harry DID become aurors, and were pretty high up in the auror department. meanwhile, hermione is doing well in the dept of magical law enforcement. more will be on tomorrow, and they will show it again SUNDAY at 7pm on dateline. but if you can't wait: click me for details my weblog I AM PUCCA!
