With less than 10 days to release and knowing all the info on book 7 that we'll probably get pre release, now is the perfect time for our final predictions because this close, many of you HP fans are probably excited and have ideas floating through your heads using the clues and insights.
here's my prediction

i believe that Harry will die, but not in vein, i think that he'll enter a new, more magical place with his friends and family, in Heaven. i mean, whats he got to live for if he does survive. anyone he actually loved is gone, plus he'll have to live with such burdens and trauma's that no one should have.
Voldy will die, he must and will. i also think that Snape will die but on the GOOD side, and probably one of the Order members too, maybe Kingsley or even Moody dies in the field.
I thik that Hagrid is one of the characters that has been given a reprieve and will live.

thats my prediction, now what are yours?

I think Ron will die and we'll find out that the Weasley family is connected to Gryffindor. I also think that the new DaDA teacher will be the turn coat...there's a pattern in the books.

I think Harry is a Horcrux, how else could he be a parselmouth also? And AK isn't suppose to leave any mark, but yet the house was reduced to rubble and there is a scar on Harry's head. Anyway, I think that to get rid of Voldemort's soul inside of him, a Dementor will come in pretty handy. Ripping your soul apart by murder and here is something that can suck your soul... if Harry will still have his scar and his parselmouth ability, then I have no idea for that.

I am beginning to believe that Ron's family are Gryffindor's decendents.

Wormtail will pay his debt to Harry, by informing him that he doesn't have to kill himself to get rid of the Horcrux inside him.

At some point, I think Harry will save Snape's life, as Snape is good. And then after Harry gets rid of the Horcrux inside him, he will be weakened, and Snape will come in and duel Voldemort while Harry rests or whatever.

Harry and Ginny will get back together at the wedding.

Deathly Hallows is the world beyond the veil. We have to know what it is and who the voices belong to. That archway is the greatest mystery in the series, and I am dying to know what is beyond the veil.

I can't decide if Hogwarts will reopen or not... I hope it doesn't because then Harry can go back and talk to Dumbeldore's painting and find more info about Voldemort more easily.

As for who dies, Lupin and Hagrid definitely. Ron and/or Hermione I seriously doubt it, but I won't be surprised if they die.

I know I have more, but I can't remember them...

well, in either OOTP or HBP isn't it stated that basicallt all pure blood families related? and all of the Hogwarts founders were pure blood, so technically they are probably descendants of Slytherin too

Well, Stephen King said that he thought Harry would still live and Voldemort would still die. I guess I'll keep that prediction.

Either Ron or Hermione will die

Some teachers will most likely die

Snape is good

RAB is Regulus Black

We will hear from Sirius again/ he could possibly come back from the dead.

Dumbledore is definitely dead (although he will still help Harry via the portrait in his office.)

Don't know what the last horcrux is

I also hope that we'll be able to see Lockhart one last time

I think part of Lily's soul is in Harry b/c if you think about it he has his mom's eyes and kindnes, and it was explained that it was love that saved Harry meaning Lilly had to something from inside of him or sometihng. I don't know it is just a guess.

Harry will live, Voldemort will die.

Harry will definately not turn out to be a Horcrux.

Hermione will die while Ron lives.

A couple more of the Order will die, possibly Hagrid, Lupin or Moody.

Dobby will help the trio out.

Dumbledore is dead, though his painting may aid Harry in some way.

Pettigrew will finally fulfill his life debt to Harry and act against Voldemort.

Snape will turn out to be on the good side, though Harry will still hate him.

Harry will help Malfoy escape Voldemort.

RAB is Regulus Black.

The locket Horcrux will either have been stashed away by Kreacher and is still at 10 Grimmauld Place, or Mundungus stole it and sold it to Aberforth, who is keeping it for Harry.

I would have to say that either Neville, Ginny, or Luna are the person to become a teacher.

Neville: Very skilled in herbology (Herbology)

Ginny: Has shown skill in casing defensive and offensive spells (DADA or Charms)

Luna: She just seems like one to become a teacher. (Any)

After seeing OotP for the second time, I have realized what the secret to the Potter universe is: The prophecy is about Neville. He is born 7/30 but the key is in the movie. In the room of Prphecies, Malfoy says that the person of which the prophecy is about is the only one that can find the prophecy. Neville finds it-not Harry. The only thing that confuses me is that Harry's name is on the prophecy. Neville must kill LV or be killed by him in order for Harry to kill LV. I think Ron is the repreived character.

Good job i checked the thread, that was exactly what i was going to predict. If any of the main 3 were to die, Hermione would be the least likely.

I am too lazy to look it up in the book, but I am pretty sure Malfoy doesn't say that. And what are you gonna believe, the movie or the book?

JK has also said that it is definitely Harry, mainly because Voldemort chose him. And anyway, Jo wouldn't lie to us. That would be suicide.

The people that the prophecy is about are the only people who can retrieve it from the hall of prophecy. Physically remove it from the shelf. It's about Harry, not Neville because Voldemort chose Harry.
