So is it really possible for the Triwizard cup to have been a portkey? If that were the case then anyone could transport themselves onto the grounds. And if portkeys are allowed, then how come no one ever thinks of that when they are trying to figure out what happened to this person and that person when they appear or disappear? Like in the Order of the Phoenix Dumbledore used a portkey to get Harry & the Weasley's to Sirius' house.
