The first two casting announcements for OOTP Roonil Wazlib Sphinx n/a POSTS: 748 MEMBER SINCE: 2005-08-09 READ MY PROFILE ADD TO FRIENDS VOTE FOR ME E-MAIL ME POSTED Tuesday, January 31, 2006 10:32:23 AM CBBC Newsround reported that the role of Kingsley Shacklebolt will be played by actor George Harris who starred in such movies as Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Interpreter and Black Hawk Down. Here is a picture of him.. Also, 15 year-old James Potter who appears in Snape's Pensieve (yes, the Pensieve is in) will be played by Robbie Jarvis. He hasn't starred in any movie before that so unfortunately, there are no pictures of him. Personally, I think George Harris is a good choice. As for James Potter, some people have suggested that he should have been played by Daniel Radcliffe himself. I've actually never thought about this, but I think it would have been possible with some different makeup. Now we'll just have to wait and see what Robbie looks like. And filming begins next Monday (that's what Devon Murray said). Hopefully, that means there will be more casting announcements in the next few days, then we'll get an official press release from WB as soon as filming starts. I'm getting excited ! CBBC wrap up Fewer than three weeks after a huge open casting session for the part of Luna Lovegood, 14-year-old Evanna Lynch has been chosen for the role. Luna Lovegood, known also as Loony, is a decidedly odd student who befriends Harry in the fifth Potter adventure. Evanna, who's from near Drogheda in Ireland, was chosen from more than 15,000 other girls at an open casting. She'll start filming her scenes at Leavesden Studios just outside London later this month. UMBRIDGE! Imelda Staunton will play new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher Professor Umbridge.
