I decided to post this here because not many regulars visit the other HP boards

Jo Rowling has donated a handwritten paper to auction in aid of Book Aid International. A preview of the paper in the Daily Telegraph has given us a few interesting little snippets:

"There are several familiar names visible, including Callidora who married a Harfang Longbottom. Her sister Charis who married Caspar Crouch. Intriguingly there is a Dorea (1920-1977) who married Charles Potter and had one child, a son. The time frame seems to be consistent with them being James' parents. "

He also says there is another listing of a name that is very intriguing to Potter fans "Arcturus Black(1884-1959).

I'm not too good with family trees though, working out who's first cousins, second cousins, twice and third removed and all that jazz. I had a hard enough time getting to grips with the Hobbit lineages in the LotR appendix.

The Lexicon has updated their Black pages in accordance to all this new information, so the old page I linked to was gone. It works now though
