The current word is that the DVD will be released on April 4, and that will most likely prove to be true. We don't expect a date confirmation from Warner Bros. until late January or early February, but we'll let you know whenever we get a confirmation.

My bet is April 4th. It's usually released four months after the movie is not in theaters anymore, and Goblet of Fire is getting there.

Official 'GoF' DVD cover art, trailer, release date revealed

Straight from WB's vault, a trailer for the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire DVD is now available online, which shows teasers of cast interviews, never-before-seen footage, special effect shots and also reveals the release date: March 7, 2006.

Additionally, MoviesOnline has kindly posted the cover arts for the single edition, 2-disc edition, and years 1-4 box edition.

Also since the release is less than two months away, did you order your copy yet? Well, you can now -- advance orders are being accepted through Warner Home Video's online store.

yea, they were cool, but i don't really care either way, just as long as they don't have those two clip things on the side of the opening, then i'm happy. (those weird clip things piss me off, u pull really hard on them and stuff and then u realise that u have to put the clip things back and THEN you have to put them closed again, and THEN after the movie u go through the same process

I love the slip-cover cases!!! They look sooooo nice and I love the way it opens again!!!

I think the special 2-disc edition of GOF will be in the slip-cover because if you look at the picture of it at the side view, the corners are all straight instead of curving like on the regular plastic covers.

I think they should bring back the covers from 1 and 2. They are way better than the regular packaging for dvds and since it is a 2 disc set, I have a felling they may do it!!!
