Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason “Poor.” — peter_haase13 [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... Shoddy sequel-by-the-numbers strikes again! This is the first movie all over again. Except it's dumb, pointless, stupid and is blatantly an excuse to print money for the movie-makers rent. Bridget Jones is about as sexy as a dead frog, and one wonders throughout this entire film why the rather dashing Marc Darcy would even sniff in her direction. Its one amusing player (Hugh Grant) is grossly underused and only shows up here because he was in the first one. Fantasticly underused cameos all round, this is in actual fact, a bit ****.
