Renee Zellweger reprises her Oscar(r)-nominated role as the lovable, witty, 30-something heroine Bridget Jones in Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason coming to DVD and VHS March 22, 2005.

Featuring an alternate beginning and hilarious deleted scenes, the DVD is chock full of embarrassing situations and romantic screw-ups that could only happen to Bridget Jones. Joining Zellweger, who was recently nominated for a Golden Globe(r) for her role in this film, are Bridget Jones's Diary alumni Hugh Grant (Love Actually, About a Boy) as the devilishly charming Daniel Cleaver and Colin Firth (Girl With a Pearl Earring, Love Actually) as the handsome, lovable lawyer Mark Darcy. The film is directed by Beeban Kidron (To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything! Julie Newmar, Antonia and Jane) from a screenplay by Andrew Davies (Bridget Jones's Diary), Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason novelist Helen Fielding, Richard Curtis (Love Actually, Bridget Jones's Diary, Notting Hill) and Adam Brooks (Wimbledon, French Kiss). Also reprising their Bridget Jones's Diary roles is Oscar(r) winner Jim Broadbent (Iris, Moulin Rouge!) as Bridget's good-natured Dad and Gemma Jones (Shanghai Knights, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets) as her unabashed Mum. The DVD is priced at $29.98 SRP ($19.95 M.A.P). The VHS is $23.98 SRP ($15.95 M.A.P).
