JMS told IGN Movies a little bit about his plan for the "Surfer"'s second film entry.
"It picks up right where the FF movie left off and it's designed to answer the questions that were asked in the movie but really weren't dealt with there, which [were]: Where did he come from, why did he become the Surfer and what is he doing here now?"
No comment from anyone yet on whether those rumours about Alex Proyas ("I, Robot") being attached to direct it are true.
Doesn't sound like it. Which could be a good thing if they don't try to clean up the mess they made with FF2's terrible depiction of the Surfer and just start fresh.
But of course I already know that's too much to ask for
