And Punisher was also getting Saint into trouble with the Toro's by destroying their money and taking it away from them.
I wish they would of kept the part where Howard leaves Livia in Ybor City/Little Cuba and the Toro's come and throw her off the bridge. But I guess having Howard do it made more sense for the movie viewers to show that the Punisher was having Howard destroy his own family/people and not realizing Frank was making him do it.
"In avenging my family, I've found a new purpose. I'm coming. All of you out there, I'm coming. Those who do evil to others - the killers, the rapists, psychos, sadists - take heed.
