June 28, 2001 — "The Girls are still headed to the big screen...but perhaps with different voices. Apparently the three actresses in question, Tara Strong, Catherine Cavadini and E.G. Daily (who voice Bubbles, Blossom and Buttercup respectively) can't get Cartoon Network to agree to hand over some back-end participation--so now replacement voices are being sought as a backup plan in case negotiations fall through."
