Todd McFarlane repeated plans for the "Torso" movie, the new "Spawn" animation, and the live-action "Spawn" film he plans to finance, write, produce and direct himself by the end of the year for less than $10 million. The film was inspired by "Crash," which McFarlane says made a huge impact on him and shows you can make a successful film for less than $10 million.

Let's hope he changes his mind and atleast makes it for 30 Million. Spawn requires alot of speacial effects. I don't think it would be good if it were made for only 10.

But why the hell would Todd wait sooooo long to do a sequel? Now he has to worry about making a sequel thats not only as good as the original, but can also stand on its own against movies like X-men and Spider-man!

you know what **** THIS MOVIE!! i love spawn almost as much as i love mortal kombat,but mcfarlane has gone to far,first he says it will really be twitches story and spawn wont really have a single line in the movie,he will just be a ghostly phantom or some ****,then he wants to make the movie with a budget like this,JUST ****ING GIVE IT TO UWE BOLL HE WILL MAKE A BETTER MOVIE,im done with spawn altogether i cant handle this anymore

I'm not going to comment on this movie until I see or hear something more on this. However, as to why would he wait this long to make another movie, I think I can answer that one. The first movie received such a backlash from fans and was such a flop that he would have wanted everyone to get over that disaster and forget about it for the most part before trying again.
