How excited (or not) I am to see this movie...

As an avid Terminator fan I was busting to see T3

My thoughts on this movie...

I was really disappointed in T3. Leads from T2 wern't followed up and the latest instalment appears to have lost its way.
Gone was the great storey line.
T1 and T2 left cinema goers thinking about where we may be heading. The desert scenes and judgement day images were stark, frightening us into confronting the potential barreness of the future.
This movie was just cinema fodder. Lots of smash, bash and mash. yes the special effects were great and the actors also did a great job.
The movie was however missing two of the main anchors Linda Hamilton and Edward Furlong. The new John Conner doesn't look as if he could take a school class on an excursion. He certainly wouldn't inspire me into following him. I'd rather go with the Terminators.
Hope T4 is able to capture some of the magic of the first two.
