| How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... |
|
| I thought T3 was a good movie, but i think it was lacking for a Terminator movie. The overall action in the movie was great and lived up to T1 and T2. However, the charisma between the actors wasn't there like in T1 and T2. There are plot gaps such as:
how SkyNet was created for Military Defense even though all evidence should have been destoyed in T2. Another thing that was lost was the concept that "fate is what we make of it." In T3 it was meant for John Conner to lead the Resistence and for Judgement Day to happen. This meant that whatever happend in T2 didn't matter and that it was a pointless. T3 destroyed the credability of T1 and T2, which I think was very wrong.
Another thing that was lacking was James Cameron's touch. James Cameron had a great concept and vision of the Terminator, so without him it just didn't live up to the right Terminator feel. One last thing that I thought was wrong was the poor support of a music score. T3 did have great parts where the right music was there, but this is a Terminator movie and the Terminator theme needed to be in the movie besides the end credits. All in all it was a good movie, but I think it could have been better. |
