Ok. I know you didn't think that I would read all of your bullshit did you? Well, I did. And I'm going to take it through step by step.

- My judgement is toned to the point where I can point out a bad movie simply by seeing the prievews. Judging a book by it's cover is entirely different, that would be more like judging a movie by it's poster.
- Anyone who judges a movie by it's preview has brain damage? And does not need to tell you about good movies? What is it about judging a preview in which the main character literaly says "talk to da hand!" that signifies brain damage?
- Is that list all that you could come up with?? You frantically typed in your search engine "independant movies" desperately and this is the most you could come up with??? You didn't even take the consideration that there are independant films coming out ALL THE TIME. Surely you could have come up with a better list than that. Here, maybe I can actually show you a list of some independnat films that came out this year so far:
Pi, Requim For a Dream, The Good Thief, Winged Migration, Spellbound, The Quiet American, Thoth, Spider, Zus and Zo, Solaris, May, Bartleby, Lift, Ararat, Read My Lips, The Day of the Dolphin, Sweet Sixteen, City of Ghosts, Gigantic, Nowhere in Africa, Blue Car, House of Fools, Raising Victor Vargas, Together, Owning Mahowney, Whale Rider. This is only about 25 independant films that have come out lately.
YOU for one know a thing or two about independant movies? Well, then if by independant you mean action movies that were unpopular at the their time, sure.
So don't ever say that you know independant films again. And certainly don't do so after giving me a list of horror/action films that came out in the 80s.
I can say that I know independant films because I'm one of the few people who actually take the time to WATCH THEM. Instead of paying numerous amounts of money to see a disgustingly bad film, and therefor feeding it's predecessor a budget to make more disgustingly bad films, I make the choice not to. Because I want films to be better then they are. But because of *******s like you, who claim that they know independant films and good films well when actually they worship Terminator 3, it's never, ever going to happen.
I think it's you who better come correct if you want to debate about movies. Because from the looks of it, movies are something you know nothing about.

Looking at flaws of every element of a movie is what makes my knowledge and understanding for what a 'good' movie is, better than yours.

- The Phantom Manace (a prequel), you're right when you say "was not bad because it was a sequal (prequal)" I think your right. It wasnt bad because it was a sequal. It was bad because a. George Lucas is a bad writer, b. The acting was poor, and was combined with bad writing, c. The directing had no sophistication, d. It had a newly added level of childish humor, e. The special FX took over the entire film, and don't say "because it was a Star Wars film idiot!" because episode 4,5 and 6 did not have Special FX crammed into each and every shot and they were ten times as good as the prequals.

1. I wouldnt want to be God's gift to movie fans, I would want to be God's gift to people that appriciate the defenition of what a truly good film is.
2. We, as in Lebowski, T-200, and I, DO know what were talking about. Which is why were able to argue our points with specifics.
3. Imagine being stuck in a world that's filled with shitty movies in which everyone besides yourself and a few others love. Imagine there is absolutely nothing we can do about it but try to change the minds of these people. This is actually a synopsis of Earth, year 2003.

- Movies are good every once in a while I agree. Oh, I forgot though. Arnold doing his own stunts at age 56 is a good reason why Terminator 3 is one of the best movies ever.
- Just the fact that a lot of people actually lost thier sense of reasoning before seeing Terminator 3, is strange.

When I saw the previews for Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, I knew it would be a bad movie. But I had to see for myself. I had to see how bad it actually was to help me argue my point later. Because I can't actually do that without having seen the film can I. If I had argued about T3 before seeing it, you would have said "WHY DON'T YOU SEE THE MOVIE BEFORE YOU RIDICULE IT", so theres my logic. Any way your going to criticise me for stating that it was horrible in ever aspect (for a list of reasons as to why Terminator 3 was horrible, I posted it in another thread. Actually, someone challenged me to find a movie that was better than T3 which came out this year, and justify reasons why it was better. Not only did I do as he asked, but I justified reasons why T3 was trash. It was in either a dragonballz thread, or a terminator one)

If you have the insensetivity to call me shallow, remember that you see movies merely to be entertained. That having said, I can truly tell you that the artistic side of your brain, is that of a brundle fly.
