Appearing on CBS' The Late Show with David Letterman, actress Halle Berry discussed her upcoming title role in Catwoman. "She doesn't have anything super-human, but she can do anything a healthy good tiger can do," Berry said about the character. Asked by Letterman how her character becomes Catwoman, Berry said:

"She dies like all the other Catwomen. She dies and is reborn a Catwoman. What's interesting about the take on this movie is we're not saying that my version of Catwoman is the only Catwoman. She's one of what we believe is nine Catwomen, so we leave room for Eartha Kitt, who was a great Catwoman, and Michelle Pfeiffer, who was another awesome Catwoman. I'm just another Catwoman because there are nine."
