Besides, that's why we have crap like Man-Thing, Silver Surfer and Namor. If movies like those are crap who cares? But taking a character from a major comic like Batman and screwing it up is just a "screw you" to fans. So as a fan I say it right back. God I hate Time Warner. They are like a plauge of locusts on DC.

You know what, I am starting to hope it takes another 10 years for WB to make Superman just so it costs them another half billion dollars.

First, $9 is what it costs to see a movie in Philadelphia. I don't set the prices. I'm just glad I do not live in NYC where tickets cost more than $11.

As for Batman 3 and 4, I thought they didn't take the movies seriously at all. They went crazy with florescent lights and goofy caractitures of the characters. It was the fact that they didn't take the sorce material seriously that those two films were so bad.

there is a difference between a movie not taking itself too seriously and a movie that turns out not to be serious despite thier best efforts.

the corny lines and bad costumes and set designs etc are tried to take a certain i guess comic element, but they did try to make a serious movie.

its like the batman show of the 60s. the show was done very seriously, but it just looked ridiculous so for us it looks like they didnt take it seriously.

those movies are some of the worst in history.

hell, one of those batman movies was ranked even lower then the never released F4 movie and captain america. hell, even lower then howard the duck. so those are extremely terrible movies. and catwoman is better then those 2 movies.

i will take catwoman over batman 3 and 4, anyday of the week.

dude i own both F4 movie and captain america. and as much as enjoy them (for different reasons. i kinda liked C-A) they dont match catwoman.

CW has more action, more comedy, more everything then both movies combined and they are B movies.

You can like it, you can love if you want, but you have to admit that it's a terrible movie. And just because you like it doesn't make it good. And I think one of the reasons people are so mad at it is because we've had Catwoman ads and hype shoved in our faces in a viscious attempt to get people herded like sheep into the theater. They treated us like a drooling mass that can't see through the thin story line, crappy special effects, terrible dialogue, and the fact that their catwoman movie dosn't actually have cat woman. Instead they have Halle Berry jumping around in a costume that sends the message that the only way a strong female character can lead a movie is to shove her boobs in everyone's faces.

Liked or disliked, Catwoman should be a horrible movie by anyone's standards.

Their only mistake was naming the movie Catwoman. If it was just suppose to be an average no-name action movie I probably would have liked it...maybe, lol. But we have to protect our comic book icons and hold them to a higher standard.
