Very good news for Spielberg fans. DVD File reports that this week he's announced that he'll be including both the original and 20th anniversary edition cut in the upcoming DVD release of ET due out later this year. All new docos are being shot for the release as well, but this isn't the only upcoming "Special Edition" film classic being re-released soon that'll have a DVD later this year. The aforementioned "Amadeus", Milos Forman's brilliant take on the life of Mozart, will hit DVD in a special 2-disc set including the extra 20 mins of footage in the new "Director's Edition". |
