She wasn't winging it. Debra Winger admits that years ago Steven Spielberg asked her to come into the recording studio and do some very famous vocals as the pipes of extra terrestrial ET. Is it her voice in the finished film that's being re-released March 22?

"I couldn't tell you. You have to ask Steven Spielberg. All I know is for three weeks, I went to the studio everyday and laid down the vocal tracks for the ET character. Whether he used another voice or it's mine, I don't know. I never asked him," Winger says.
