To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the film's original release, several E.T. action figures have come about, but with a modern twist. Not only does the alien talk, saying "Be good" and "Home," but if paired up with another action figure from the same series, he interacts, speaking when the other figure's hand is placed on his forehead. This figure features the Extra Terrestrial himself casually attired in a blue bathrobe after his indulgent day around the house. Two beer cans, one crushed and one not, and a slice of pizza round out the set. The skin is leathery with limited motion, the legs are stationery, only one elbow moves, and the head can't turn from side to side. But the neck cranes up either when pulled or when interacting evokes some of the more tender moments of the movie. --John Moe
