He did bring up a few points about the movie that I noticed myself that I didn't like. When the mom is yelling at Michael about going out on Halloween dressed as a "Hippy." Michael isn't dressed as a hippy at all, he looks more like a victum in some B rated slasher movie. It is a ridiculous line. Also he brought up the fact that the mom is terrified that the FBI men, or whoever they were, raced up to the van carrying walkie-talkies. I think they should have left the guns in place, it would have made more sense for the mom to be terrified. Another thing I've always noticed, that never seems to bother anyone, is what happened to the pizza lying in the backyard? No one picks it up... and later when Elliot goes into the backyard, it isn't there. Did ET eat it box and all? Another thing that I alway found confusing is why does Gerty call her mother "Mary"? I thought that was weird.
