March 29, 2003 — The Hollywood Reporter reports that Jamie Kennedy ("JKX: The Jamie Kennedy Experiment") is in preliminary negotiations to star in New Line Cinema's "Son of the Mask," the second installment of "The Mask" franchise. Larry Guterman is directing the project, which is expected to shoot in the summer while Kennedy is on hiatus from "JKX."
