| For me, It was "Lord of the Rings" meets "The Count of Monte Christo." I thought it was much better than "LotR." I am not clear on my comparison to "Monte Christo." It was a spectacular movie. I haven't read the book, but, since it apparently didn't follow it to closely, that didn't matter. I was a little worried after reading the NY Times review, but that guy was all wrong. Orlando, Guy, and Jeremy were all magnificent, I can't pick a favorite. It is either the first or second best film I have seen this season. Some questions to be answered, for instance [SPOILER] what happens to the elders? [/SPOILER] but other than that it was awesome. Let man's petty nations tear themselves apart.
