June 23, 2004 — Tim Robbins will star in Columbia Pictures' "Zathura", which is being firected by Jon Favreau ("Elf"). The film is an adaptation of a book by Chris Van Allsburg. Filming will begin in August.

Zathura follows two young brothers who are drawn into an intergalactic adventure when their house is magically hurtled through space. Robbins will play the boys' father. The script was written by David Koepp, John Kamps and Eric Fogel.
