Tim Robbins will star in Columbia Pictures' Zathura, directed by Jon Favreau (Elf), says Variety. The adaptation of Chris Van Allsburg's children's book starts shooting in August.
Zathura follows two young brothers who are drawn into an intergalactic adventure when their house is magically hurtled through space. Robbins will play the boys' father.
Although originally planned as a sequel to Jumanji, the studio now says the film will be a stand-alone project. David Koepp, John Kamps and Eric Fogel wrote the script.
Hmmmm ... sounds pretty good. Speakin' of Tim, I just saw 'Cadillac Man' with him and Robin Williams in it. It was so hilarious! *goes to watch the movie again*
