Anticipation Level:
How excited (or not) I am to see this movie...
Okay, I don't want to rain on the parade of those people who liked this movie(and honestly, who would?) but this is not a great or even good movie. It drags on and on, finally to end with a scene that say 'we are better than the last action film because we have better special effects and our military shots have more guns than yours'. Now if that is not bad, then what is?
The Hulk starts out trying to tackle bigger subject matter than the small-minded creaters who made it could handle. This is blunder number one. The second mistake is that there is no actual plot to justify actually having a script. They should have just let the CGI people go crazy with their little(well, actually not so little) green guy and left the rest out of it. The dialouge is bad even by the standards of summer blockbusterS and that is saying something. We all know that December is for movies made by people with brains that actually acknowledge that their viewers possese intellegance too and that the summer is just for money-makers, but when The Hulk fell second to Charlie's Angeles, it was obvious that this movie had nothing to offer, not even money making powers.
