The Hulk “Smashing” — Rogue_Program [More reviews by this user] Anticipation Level: How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... Hulk was brilliant. Beautiful direction, beautiful CGI, beautiful acting, and an amazing story. Ang mixed and matched comic book stories, put a great spin on Hulk's origin, and went deep into the psyche of Bruce Banner, as presented in the comic. When people look at this movie and say it sucked, or was slow, they don't really grasp it. It was deep. The first hour shows us WHY Banner is going to become The Hulk, and then the second hour shows us how he is going to deal with being The Hulk. The ending was even comic book-ish, and the way they use Absorbing Man is great. [SPOILER] Nick Nolte [/SPOILER] was a brilliant Absorbing Man, and did more justice than the lame character Crusher Creel. All in all, Hulk was... Incredible .
