Just wondering if people want to know a bit about it and what I thought. I am not going to write a review but prefer to be asked about it. I can tell you its good and bad points if you like but it was a more compact movie with a faster pace but feel it should have lasted longer.
This 2008 version of the film is on the verge of knocking Hulk's dignity off again or winning a new audiance and not sure how neutrals will see it.
I was more impressed by the human story than the Hulk in the end, not sure why.
I did not see captain America in anyway, if there is a scene in the snow then it was cut out because I did not see it. Unless Marvel added different things to different cinemas. Maybe I watched a Preview and some scenes were not in it I don't know.
Bad parts: CGI looked probably worse than Ang Lee's versions at time. It felt like two different special effects crew were on it, it was good in parts and others not. The storie's realism felt let down by CGI looking obvious and Hulks face never looked the same in all the scenes.
Abomination was good CGI but guess what? Not enough screen time and not sure if that 26min battle was that long as they describe. Did they mean you see 26 minutes worth of Hulk in total because the ending battle felt a lot shorter? Maybe 10 minutes but broken up battle scene at the end, it felt short but still nice to see something new.
The good: The overall pace and story telling, had some okay emotional parts but you still wish for more.
Tony Stark appears at the end wanting a team up.
Was there more after the credits? There probably was but did not stay to find out you tell me and stay behind.
I think the DVD or the uncut version will have tonnes of missing footage to catch up with.
