| To be honest, I don't necessarily see any of the villians in Hulk's "Rogue's gallery" as do-able in these films. O.K., using Absorbing Man with Bruce's old man was pretty slick; but, do you honestly want to see a campy lookin' figure like Leader tainting the tone of this franchise. Something that most people seem to overlook is that The Hulk is not your a-typical comic book hero, he's a tragic monster figure, a hybrid of Jekyll/Hyde and Frankenstein merged with the most durable pair of pants ever known to exist(to hell with hidden strength, regeneration, and what-not, I wanna learn the secret to the true "one size fits all" pair of pants). Yes, this picture was, at times, sluggish. I won't debate that; however, I believe in order to maintain the integrity of the series, the real adversary in Bruce Banner's next adventure has to be The Hulk, himself. In other words, we know that Banner had a Hulk inside of him from day one and the Gamma rays just helped. Suppose, we see the Gamma-irradiated, green-skinned Hulk physically separate from Banner leaving a slightly unevolved, weaker, Gray-skinned Hulk in his place. I know they did this at some point during the 80's run of the comic when Bruce was seeking therapy and the Green and Gray Hulks had at one another. I say, let's run with that. The only way to make a sequel work is to make it darker in tone than the first picture. It worked for X2. It can work here, true believers. "Have I no shame? Of course, I do. I just forgot where I left it at."

i know what u mean.
and thats right. most people dont see that about the hulk.
the fact that he's a tragic character and not a super hero.
but there are quite a few scenarios we can do about that.
the leader is a goof ball.
but the abomination and doc samson are realy cool characters.
hulk 2 can pick it up the same way x2 did.
the army is still after the hulk, banner still looks for a cure, the abomination is created as a result of the hulk/absorbing man fight and doc samson is an army experiment which worked.
so we can see a 3 way battle here.
the abomination who is supposed to be stronger then the hulk (here we showcase the hulk's anger in the sense that it makes him stronger and stronger)
and doc samson, the perfect result of what the army was hoping to create in the first hulk movie.
all this can be a tragic love story surroounded by WAY more action and almost as much story.
this angle has a lot of potential.
Watch something in the way it was created. never assume a remade version is better if u havent seen the original
Bruce Banner:"You found me"
Betty Ross: "You werent hard to find"
Bruce Banner: "Yes I was"
The coolest line in an incredible movie
Green Mean SMASHING Machine!
I am a Hulk Legioner forever!
Hulk Legioner #2!
"wanna fight?"
"oooo, them fightin words!" |
