Cosmo_Kramer said: Green Goblin82 said: I thought the oompa loompa scenes were really good. I haven't decided if they are better than the originals, but i found the songs to be really funny especially the Veruca one. I also like the puppet song and the first appearance of Willy Wonka. The best line in the movie is when they enter the chocalate room and and Willy goes "Everything in my factory is eatable, even i'm eatable, but that my dear children is called cannalbism and is frowned on my many societes" lol
i dont know which one i liked more...the first dance was pretty good though..just them doing formations in the chocolate river..lol..
these songs were right out of the book, but they're just not as catchy as the ones from the original film. i liked how this film was more original. i think it was stupid how people didn't like it because it had "new" oompa-loompas and songs etc. and that it was nothing at all like the original. if they want to see the old movie, they can wach the old movie. "The people who made [Firefly], and the people who saw the show, which is roughly the same number of people, fell in love with it, a little bit too much to let it go, too much to lay down arms when when the battle looked pretty much lost. In Hollywood, people like that are called unrealistic, quixotic, obsessive... In my world, they're called Browncoats."
