saw the film tonight an absolutly loved it. only 1 or 2 flaws or things that sucked about it (charlie hardly speaking when he was in the factory..sucked).

I liked the nut scene a lot, that was funny as hell.

man was this film so far different from the original. wow.

the film ended a hell of alot better then the original, but im not sure yet if it was better then the original.

although i must say what a waste of a delicious room, in the end. turning that chocolate into snow flack chocolate (may be good) but may clog up the waterfall

My favorite scene is when they first come into the factory and the Willy Wonka song plays and the puppets catch on fire!! Hehe! Then the best quote of the movie is, "Good morning star shine, the earth says, Hello!"

So funny...

I like the part, when they enter the Chocolate Room, when they ride though the chocolate river and Voilet turns into a blue berry with a the song sceans.

Oh and isn't Voilets mother weird she really looks like dame barbie doll.

I thought the oompa loompa scenes were really good. I haven't decided if they are better than the originals, but i found the songs to be really funny especially the Veruca one. I also like the puppet song and the first appearance of Willy Wonka. The best line in the movie is when they enter the chocalate room and and Willy goes "Everything in my factory is eatable, even i'm eatable, but that my dear children is called cannalbism and is frowned on my many societes" lol

You realize, of course, that it's from a song written before you were probably born. (As were many of the references Wonka made)

I think the scene that was the best handled was the Nut Room.

these songs were right out of the book, but they're just not as catchy as the ones from the original film. i liked how this film was more original. i think it was stupid how people didn't like it because it had "new" oompa-loompas and songs etc. and that it was nothing at all like the original. if they want to see the old movie, they can wach the old movie.

"The people who made [Firefly], and the people who saw the show, which is roughly the same number of people, fell in love with it, a little bit too much to let it go, too much to lay down arms when when the battle looked pretty much lost. In Hollywood, people like that are called unrealistic, quixotic, obsessive... In my world, they're called Browncoats."

I must say, the glass elevator scenes were quite impressive. Made even better by the two instances in which Wonka ran into it!

So many great one-liners in this film. Another which deserves mentioning is the fantastic string of slang he whips out in the Inventing Room.

As well as, "You smell like old people... and soap. I like that."

the ones in the book were sung to interesting things (machines operating)..in the new one..the oompas would sing them at very weird times..

ive been to see this 4 times already and i love it!
i loved the old one to, but with tim burton directing this one, it has made it one of my all time fave films.
the new parts in the film, and the way that willy wonka has always wanted a family, and his scary dad just makes the film!

i love it when willy wonka meets the kids outside and says "good moring starshine..."

but my favourite quote is when they are just about to go into the nut room and willy wonka is talking to Mr Salt and does the funniest laugh and says
"you're really weird"

it makes me laugh every single time i watch it!

love the film, johnny depp plays willy wonka just as freaky and odd as he should be!!!

My fave scene is...gosh it's hard to pick just one! But I think one of the best was the puppet things singing that song and everybody is wondering where Willy Wonka is, but he's standing next to them. I loved the movie it was great!

i loved that movie. If I could add one thing to it it would be.. after he says "chewing gum is really gross, chewing gum I hate the most." voilete would stick her toung at him and he would look around to make sure no one was watching & make a face or stick his toung out back at her! That would be awsome

my fave scenes are, all the songs, when Willy says "I've tried it on, like, 20 oompa-loompas, and they all turned into blueberries" laughs and then goes out of sight, and when Grandma Georgina and Grandpa George says "that girl is despicible" "do you even know what were talking about?" "dragonflies?

nobody has said the glass elevator yet

i think some scenes would have been much much better if elfman had of done some more of his sweeping score magic (the glass elevator scene for eg)
