September 13, 2001 — Kids' WB has altered many of its shows due to the attacks, according to the Comics Continuum:
Due to the terrorist attacks on Tuesday, Kids' WB! has altered its programming this week, which will mean that the series finale of Batman Beyond will not be seen on Friday as originally scheduled.
The revamped lineup, made after a network review, also means that "Growing Pains," the scheduled second-season premiere of X-Men: Evolution will not air on Saturday. Instead, the network will show the second episode of the second season, "Power Surges."
A representative said the network is trying to be "particularly sensitive" to the events in New York and Washington. The WB and Kids' WB! have been reviewing content to ensure they do not show anything inappropriate in light of the recent events.
The Batman Beyond episode "Unmasked," the 47th made and the only episode yet to air, was originally scheduled to air Friday at 4:30 p.m. as the last Batman Beyond episode on Kids' WB!. The show is moving to Cartoon Network as of Oct. 1.
