I'm not sure. WB had been very confused about what it wants to do. Before Batman Begins, they knew they wanted to relaunch the Batman franchise quickly but they had to make it stand out from the recent Shumaker mistake. At the time, the Batman Beyond cartoon was just finishing its successful run.
WB decided to do both a Batman Beyond movie and a Batman/Superman movie. Of course, a year later they decided to do Batman Begins instead with Batman also in the LJA film.
Now we have Batman Begins and it's sequels and no Batman in the JLA.
One minute there is a solo Wonder Woman film and a solo Green Lantern film coming out, the next minute nothing.
Superman sequel...changed to a Superman origin story relaunch.

Why is it so hard for these people to put out a movie for their characters? I was looking forward to seeing a Green Lantarn movie and was actually hoping they would do a reboot of Steel. But seeing as how they are, that probably wont happen for a long time, or maybe never.

WB should be crushing Marvel Studios. They have more iconic characters. They have full control over all of their liscenses. And yet they just can't get out of their own way long enough to make a few great movies.
