May 17, 2002 — Expect to see Frank the dog a lot more in Men in Black 2.
Director Barry Sonnenfeld told USA Today
"What makes Frank great," says Sonnenfeld of the pooch, once more played by 7-year-old Mushu, "is that even though he is an alien, he has the attitude of New York. Brazen, sardonic and sarcastic."
"Frank is a lady's man," Sonnenfeld says, "and Jay is sick of hearing stories about his triumphs." The canine also is starting to speak for himself off-camera. Asked to reveal something personal and top secret, the pug known as Agent F says, "I could get in a lot of trouble for releasing this information, but ... I was the one who let the dogs out."
