It sucked! he pulls fatal moves that reek of what happened with Secret Agent Man. He steals his own stuff, chews it up and spits it out expecting to hit gold on something he did 5 years ago. he tactlessly made all the wrong moves and destroyed the mystique he had going wit MIB 1. It's a forced *comedy* and the lack of reality overdoes the sci fi tones of the film. He needed to ditch the fake sets of NYC and go out there to film. And have we not excelled in the area of special effects??? those Serleena vines looked like crap. COME ON! THIS IS 2000 we don't have shallow, depthless cgi! Theres no need for any of it. And as for the premise of Serleena distracting every last person in MIBHQ? That's pathetically out of key with how the MIB work. ....product placement sucks as well, and I'm sure Sonnenfeld is going to hell for what he has done to the MIB's cars as well as HQ. As a MIB fan, I was ashamed of MIIB... and it's pretty sad when you feel so ashamed of a movie you had no hand in making suck so much. the ONLY saving grace that made it so I could stomach my $9 movie ticket was RICK BAKER'S MAKEUP AND CAMEO. Cameos are for decent people. Not Michael Jackson who's *riding the bike of popularity*. He didn't want to be protrayed on the main viewer screen as an alien in MIB 1. But as soon as something becomes all popular, he wants in on it. HE was as damn scary as Lara Flynn Boyle (and not in a good way). stars save us all when"MIB 3: The Quest for more Money" comes out.
