This guy movie reveiwer for www.countingdown.com said MIB 2 sucked now ill admit it was not as good as the first but then he said the first one sucked and i also read the interveiw for the mothman prophecies which was a good movie and he said it sucked but i dont think he knows his movies well he thought in ghostbusters 2 the ghostbusters face the statue of liberty i hope he is reading this

I think the first movie was an ingenious idea well brought to screen with some good writing and good on screen chemistry. MIB 2 rehashed the same jokes five years later, barely touches the chemistry between smith and jones in the first one, had predictable jokes that really weren't that funny most of the time, and yet they still could have made a decent movie if they would have actually developed the plot. Its not like they had to cut time, it was less than an hour and a half. 2 out of 5 stars from me, the movie short before it was better. **

LOTR Readers Club: Books I-VI
I didn't think it was nessesary to make. I mean, sequels are only good if they're started in the movie/book before it. It starts by asking a question. If the question is not answered, it probably will be in the next movie/book. Good signs of a great writer is asking questions to keep the reader (or audience) thinking constantly.
Overall, I was not pleased with the fact that the women was "The Light". To me, it was just a make-up-as-we-go-along-mo vie. Kinda like "The Time Machine". I don't mean to hurt anyone's feelings, and yes, critics are stupid (they're as useless as bellybuttons and let's leave it at that).
I thought the first movie was the best, though. MIB2 had great special effects and humor, but the thing about "The Light" really messed up a good storyline.

the only one opinion that relly matters is your own. me personaly i liked this one more than the first. probibly because kay fierd his gun more, jay had some experence so both ajents knew what they were doing, and evin zed got in on some of the action. but thats just my opinen. i think this movie had to be made, why? to correct the mistake of the first one. wuodent be right without kay. i think the reson for it being to short has something to do with 911. i know the script had to be revised because of it. but to me this movie is more of a transition of the first and the therd. jay has experence and kay tighd his lose ends. the next shuld have some new stuff (i hope). no recruting and rokie crap, strate to the good stuf.
