Anticipation Level:
How excited (or not) I am to see this movie...
As an A-Team fan since I was a little kid, I for one am very excited that the idea of the A-Team movie has be resurrected. Obviously, I hope they are able to fill the roles of Face, BA, and Murdock with the actors who originally played them, (Dirk Benedict, Mr.T and Dwight Shultz respectively), with some very well thought out casting for the Hannibal part.
Even with new actors in these roles, I will still be looking forward to a big screen version of my co-favorite show (MacGyver being the other)
Now, I've heard some fans complaining that a new movie version could ruin the legacy of the A-Team, but I disagree. I think the show stands by itself as a classic and nothing can ever diminish that. The movie will either sink or swim on its own as a separate entity. It will just be a great sight to see Hannibal, Face, Murdock and BA back in action, and possibly set against a more modern backdrop. With a good script and some creative casting, this could be the most successful TV to movie adaptation ever (Move over non-gun-shooting-karate-k
icking-lame-ass Charlie's Angels)
