Casting Rumors

SUBMITTED BY Scooby

February 22, 2004 — 'Anonymous' tells us:

Radio personalities Bob and Tom reported earlier this week that George Clooney will be playing the role of Hannibal in the next A-team movie. They also reported that Clooney is helping Mike Tyson get a multi-million contract to play the role of B.A. Baracas. Tyson reportedly had said he was greatful to Clooney for help launching his movie career. Tom also went on to say that this would tremendously help Tyson's financial situation. This report is from the Bob and Tom Show as broadcast through station 100.1 WKQQ in Lexington, KY.

We spoke to Top Cow's Chris Carlisle about the Mike Tyson rumor when it first popped up a few months ago. He denied it. Last time we checked with Carlisle (about three weeks ago), no script was written yet.

tyson aas BA I don't think so, with so many tv hits you would think that Donald would get one project off the ground all talk but no action on any of his movies, but Owen would be better for Murdock, Walberg would be a better Face, I like the direction of this movie if it's true to be gritty, action and NO farce go the line of the western The Magnificent Seven where a group of mercks are hired to save a village from drug lords in columbia
