Director Brian Helgeland recently spoke to IGN DVD about his upcoming Extended Edition DVD for Heath Ledger actioneer "A Knight's Tale" and talk of a potential sequel came up:
Question: In recent interviews, Alan Tudyk mentioned the possibility, or at least the idea for a sequel. What are your thoughts?
Helgeland: Well, we came up with this idea where the Wat character uses his winnings to buy a boat, a creaky old leaky boat, and they basically go off and get into trouble. It's not really a pirate movie, but the idea was that Rufus Sewell kidnaps the princess and takes her to Constantinople and they have to go down in this little boat and rescue her. But his name for it was A Pirate's Tale.
Question: How feasible is the possibility of actually making that?
Helgeland: I don't know. I guess it depends on if I could get that cast all together again, and all of those things. For the full interview, click here! Thanks to DarkHorizons.
