May 8, 2003 — According to Box Office Mojo, X2 made $4.9 million yesterday, pushing it past the $100 million mark! The film currently has a domestic gross of around $103 million dollars, fast approaching the $157.3 domestic gross of the original X-Men. X2 still has this weekend and most of next week to dominate the box office before the Matrix unveils its second chapter, so expect some more records to get slashed in the days and weeks ahead.
