X2 Midnight Screening in Westwood Report!

SUBMITTED BY Typhon24

May 2, 2003 — Hey X-Fans! For those of you who couldn't make it, last night's screening of X2 in Westwood in Los Angeles last night was the place to be! Rabid fans sold out the 1,300 seat Mann theater, creating a line that stretched on for blocks! The best part was that some of the people behind the flick even stopped by, including director Bryan Singer, Executive Producer Tom DeSanto, writers Mike Dougherty and Dan Harris, and actor Daniel Cudmore, aka Colossus!

Singer and DeSanto cruised the epic line, saying hi to fans and signing autographs.

After we all filed into the theater, DeSanto introduced the present cast and crew, and they even stayed and watched the flick with us - I know because I sat right behind Daniel 'Colossus' Cudmore - and it ain't just special effects, guys, that is one huge individual (and a nice guy, to boot)! The screening went great, with a nice constant string of cheering and hooting (particularly when Colossus showed up), and DeSanto even hung around after the movie let out to sign more autographs. All in all, it was a great night, one that will not be soon forgotten!

Even though you may have missed this screening, CountingDown encourages you to catch any subsequent shows as many times with as many friends as possible so we can get an X3!
