Gambits cool but the obvious choice is beast, why because with the story for xmen 2 being the whole virus that kills mutant that leaves the door open for not beast butt that guy wasnt his name henry mcoy or something? well u know who im talking about, henry is like a walking dictionary and he is really smart so he is probaly going to try to come up with a cure for the virus drink it and then tur n into that blue fuzzy thing, dont like what im saying? well tough i just dont think gambit will fit in the story maybe in pt 3 anyways who am i to say this im just a fan, its up to those fat cats in hollywood and u know they dont give a fudge what the fans want they will proably just bring some stupid mutant and make everybody upset.

chromex!!! he wouldn't hurt the storyline. If it is the virus idea then fine but Gambit wouldn't hurt that idea buddy. Whats wrong with u 2? have u never read a good comic with Gambit? if so you both are really missing out. i recommend reading the ones written by Fabien Nichieza

i c i take it than chromex that your in your 30's or so. If thats the case than it kinda falls to place, your an older comic fan and you don't like things that are new. I agree with 'em. Gambit is kick ass an all and I think he's modeled after me, even tho I'm only 16. It would be nice to bring him in the X-Men family but not until X3. They already messed up the movie by not bringing him into the first one and making Jean the doctor. Beast is the one who taught her everything she knew about genetics and healing. And maybe they could go with the legacy cure changing Hank into the blur furred Beast we all know and love. If it comes down to it...I'll take Beast over Gambit any day of the month. It wouldn't fit with the love story they got Logan and Rogue going into. And the virus plot they are writting. Sorry Cide.

hmm you seem to forget...gambit if shown requires a major subplot given the need to explain him. which means you cant have both beast AND gambit in it if you want to have time for the OTHER charecters as well.

i watch movies all the time, and yes gambit would be able to fit in to x-men 2. After all gambit is a MEMBER of the x-men so it seems understandable that he would be in the x-men movie. A lot of people say that they don't like Gambit because he's "new" on the team. But in actuality he's been a member of the x-men for about 14 years. And what story is that ??? Do we know for a FACT what story he is going with??? And just becasue you and some others think he is boring, doesn't mean everyone else does... the movie is not going to be made around you oppinion of a boring charater, just like it won'

Did you watch the first movie? Ok.... well there was alot of characters left out.. so why would it hurt if Beast or Gambits background got left out... hell for all i care is.. just leave it the same adn do some backgrounds for the characters you already have.....instead of adding more, new complex ones...

Your missing what I'm saying. If you try to put Gambit in, not only will the movie get pushed back because he isn't in it, but it will turn into Mortal Kombat Annihilation all over again. When it comes to characters in a movie, you can't try to overcomplicate it. Yes, the effects would be awesome, yes the character would be awesome, but it just doesn't fit. And really maybe you can try to be mature and refrain from insults.

for some wierd reason you all seem to think that Gambits not in the script but that they'll add him suddenly into the script just because gambit is loved by fans . I truly doubt that. They haven't written him in and aren't planning on writing him in. It isn't going to happen. Try to remember that comics and movies are two completely different things. In a comic they can destroy the world and bring it back within 5 pages. Do you think that would go over well in a movie. Or hey, while we are adding all of these unnecisary characters to X-Men, let's just do the whole infinity gauntlet series in half an hour of the movie and make sure to have every character. Some things just don't work for movies, and Gambit is one of those things.

aight, y'all. first off, its remy, not remmi. some gambit fan. second off, where do you get off, cide? not every "fan" likes gambit. I think he's a total potz, and I've been reading comics since two. I've read every x-book from about '80 on and i'm only 17 (soon to be 1 my oldest brother collected them, and he doesnt like gambit, either.

gambit was put into the x-books because people were complaining their line up was stale. (it wasn't) gambit became stale with in 15 issues of X-Men, vol. 2. one he's said something once,you've heard it from him a million times. his powers arent getting anymore interesting, they gave him a dark, disturbed past because they were ready to throw himn out and wanted to give him one last chance, and his past sucked.

gambit is a pretty terrible hero. he doesnt have any depth to himself at all.

wouldnt it be nice if we could live twice in just one life and then we'd know what to do when im shaking in my shoes and my heart skips a beat over you.
