I happen to catch a sneak preview of Minority Report last night. The movie is about 2 hours and 45 minutes long. Does it go by fast and is it loaded with lots of great action sequences? No it doesn't go by fast. Actually the movie kind of drags and just when you thought it was going to end Steven decides to add another 40 minutes to it. Now about the action sequences. There are 2 to 3 action scenes that are ok. I wouldn't call them great but they're ok. You'll think the movie is loaded with Tom running away and fighting people at the same time with great effects but that doesn't happen. There are great effects in it. But this movie IS A 2:45 MURDER MYSTERY MOVIE. The movie needs a lot more heart to it and some better action scenes. The movie is pretty much all talk. It's about John Anderton trying to figure out why he kills this man he doesn't even know. Does he kill him as predicted?
The man dies but John doesn't become responsible for his death. Remember, John saw the future and made a choice of what to do. But remember, it's a mystery.
I kind of liked it. If it would of given us what the trailer gave us then I would have wanted to buy it on DVD. But now I don't. I'm going to give this 3 stars*** for a good mystery and some cool effects.

Trailers can be deceiving my friend.
Any person who wants to see a movie only because of a movie trailer is a fool.
The best trailer was the Internet Exsclusive one made by Steven.
I just came back from the movie and although I agree it is a Murder Mystery...I don't see why you find this to be a drawback. I knew it was a murder mystery going in. And I loved every second of it. Even the "un-necissary" 40 minutes at the end. I loved the fact that the movie didn't end with a huge fight or action sequence. That's not how Murder Mysteries are supposed to end.
I'd give it Five Stars.
Out of Five, mind you.

This rant has been brought to you by Pope Squad Five, the elite Roman Catholic team of superheros brought forth to defend Catholicism in the Pope's failing health.

By the way...I don't really live in Nova Scotia.

I loved the movie and give it 5 stars. The movie was actually 140 minutes long. Great action, suspense, humor and mystery to it. Can't wait till it comes on DVD. The movie lived up to the trailer and the wait was worth it.

Spiderman I don't think so.

I gave it 5 stars also. I think people were expecting too much from this film because it was Steven Spielberg, so i'm not expecting alot of people to like it. I think i Replied in someones post a while back about this. I'm definatly buying this film on DVD!!
