| How excited (or not) I am to see this movie... |

| I was so excited for it being the movie of the year. I wanted to be blown away all over again. I wanted it to grab me and never let go. I wanted it to be better than the first. |

| My thoughts on this movie... |

| It fell short of my expectations, but I still think it's a good movie. Their's too much in it that makes it very good, but it should of been great. I'll probably get attacked from people saying my IQ isn't good enough to understand it or something, but I got the first movie right away. I'm not a big fan of LOTR, Star Wars, or The Matrix, but I enjoy the franchises of each, except for the newer Star Wars movies. I noticed certain symbolism in The Matrix that many fans go crazy over, and it was what I wanted to be the best trilogy of the 3 franchises. Now I believe LOTR will come out on top, for the first 2 movies are perfect. Star Wars lost what it had when George Lucas got greedy. Now the directors of The Matrix Reloaded did not pull a George Lucas on us, for they did write all 3 scripts at the same time, and their story is more involving. Honestly, it's just the first half that stops it from being a great movie. I know the people of Zion are trying to prepare for the war, but they sound like they are on Star Trek as well as in Attack of the Clones. The action was unbelievable, the performances were great, and the special effects were mind-blowing, and ya, I'm still excited to see the third movie, but Reloaded just passes as good entertainment while it could of been something more. It could of been moving, involving, and more deep than the original. Maybe Revolutions will do this. |
